Some of the materials we extrude include:
In the plastics extrusion process, raw thermoplastic material is fed into the barrel of an extruder. The rotating screw pushes the resin down a heated barrel to a set temperature, and then flows through a reinforced screen to remove any contaminants. The resin passes through a custom-made die, which gives the final product its profile or shape. This profile is maintained throughout the cooling process as the extruded material moves to the end of the line. The extrusion is then spooled or cut into final pieces, and sent to the next stage for finishing or specialty packaging.
